Arctic Blue Ice Melter helps control ice and snow dependably, economically and safely. A truly unique product with a bright blue color using a dye that is environmentally friendly and does not stain the surface of your walkway or roads when used correctly. The dye helps the user to economically spread the icemelter evenly, preventing overspreading and saving money with less of an environmental impact. Arctic Blue is blended with Potassium, which is in most common fertilizers as a required nutrient for turf, plants and shrubs. Potassium does not burn lawns like other products with pure sodium chloride and has long been known as a safe ingredient to melt ice safely. Arctic Blue does not contain calcium chloride or magnesium chloride, so no oily residue is left behind to track into buildings. An icemelter that is clean, economical and effective on snow and ice and is very easy to use.

Formulation
Arctic Blue Icemelter is a product comprised of Sodium Chloride and Potassium Chloride that has a blue dye, making even distribution easy and obvious to the end-user. Potassium is in most common fertilizers as a required nutrient for turf, plants and shrubs.
Application Instructions
- Apply at a rate of 10 - 20 lbs. per 1,000 square feet (¼ - ½ cup per square yard).
Application Notes
- Arctic Blue Icemelter is best applied in a uniform, even distribution pattern.
- It is easiest to spread by mechanical means, such as a spreader, depending on size of coverage.
- It is recommended to remove ice and slush once ice bond has broken.
- Icemelter may be applied at the beginning of a storm to prevent hard ice accumulations.
